I can all most see it in the distance. It is going to be a great year. Now that I’m working for myself I can optimize my sunshine time by booking off on those very hot days during the summer but for now Spring seems good enough for me.

“The Songwriters association of Canada has put forward a proposition for collective licensing of music for personal use. The Right to Equitable Remuneration for Music File Sharing would legalize sharing of a copy of a copyrighted musical work without motive of financial gain, for a monthly fee of $5.00 applied to all Canadian internet connections, [...]
VisualHub is a small application that is helping me convert my movies to h.264 MP4. Works great even though my HD content takes much longer to convert. It’s nice that all of my movies will be the same format and correctly and neatly organized in both its home folder and in iTunes under Movies. Click picture for [...]
Once I get my movies sorted out then I will have my digital life organized. I forgot to plug in the iPod or it would be listed under devices also. Apple junkie? Click for closeup :)
I’m just in the middle of converting my movie library to h.264 MP4 files for Apple TV. The streaming feature did not work at first but after resetting Apple TV to factory and making a few small changes to optimize network speed everything looks OK. HD content looks fantastic. It’s funny that Windows Media Center [...]

They currently wouldn’t work with the iPhone’s music playback anyway and where simply to talk on the phone…..for now. I’m going to order a replacement piece and put them on [...]
Picked up a few new things for the office this week. A Seagate external 500GB Hard Drive (left of monitor), a 8GB USB key for my keychain and a 24 inch HDMI Widescreen Monitor for the Macbook Pro. I can do much more at once having a 24″ Widescreen and a 17″ Laptop screen running [...]
I’m just finishing up a few medium size SBS (Small Business Server) installs. Not much is new other than its time to ditch the Christmas Tree and get ready for spring (optimism). We are going to Karaoke on Saturday at a place called M1 Karaoke in Inglewood. I imagine it will be like every other [...]
